Review:
I was disappointed by OutBound. The book made many promises it did
not keep. It could have been so much more. The book is divided in two sections,
systems and adventure hooks and rules and misc. The systems and hooks are
ok but could use so fleshing out. In the other half few new rules are introduced
and most of the Scout equipment section is just ideas on why scouts could
use or not these items, and other such space fillers. There are new careers
but nothing out of the ordinary. Frankly I do not need the author to tell
me that a stun baton is excellent is a scout wants to stun opponents or
that a biowatch could be useful.
