The game:
The Alternity game is a science fiction role-playing game from TSR ( which is owned by Wizards of the coast ), the game was mostly developed by Bill Slavicsek and Richard Baker who worked on ad&d Darksun and Birthright respectively. You can find the alternity game at most good hobby store and other specialized stores. Or it is also available online from site such as  www.tsr.com and  www.amazon.com .

 The Web masters:
 Currently there are two web masters, Bleakcabal (  bleakcabal@hotmail.comgridscape@usa.net ) ,Javalar ( gridscape@usa.net , vadarther@hotmail.com).

This site is hosted on Xoom. You can reach it either at http://members.xoom.com/Gridscape/ or http://welcome.to/Gridscape.

Star*Drive, Dark×Matter:
Star*Drive is a space-opera setting for the Alternity game, which is available now, whislt, DarkMatter is a paranormal, mystery setting which should be released soon by TSR. They should be available anywhere the Alternity game is sold. These work much like campaign sets for the Ad&d game.

What are role-playing games ? :
Role-playing games are games in which one person act as a moderator or Game Master, and other players play as players. Playing the role of an imaginary character. These characters or heroes must face challenges or adventures presented and moderated by the Game Master. Altough many idiotic rumors about role-playing games have surfaced over the years, rest assured that none of these had any seed of thruth to them. They were, like many rumors, founded only in misinformation. You can learn more about role-playing games on the web, from poeple involved in the game or from your local TSR retailer. If you want to learn how to play the Alternity game you can always pick up a copy of the  fast-play rules right here on this web-site.
